🃏 About This Event

The Austin TCG Marketplace Summer Edition runs Saturday and Sunday, July 11–12, 2026 at the Austin Marriott South, with roughly 150 vendor tables split evenly between trading card games and sports cards. This is Austin's mid-summer anchor show — timed to land between the June Palmer show and the larger fall conventions — and it's become the go-to stop for TCG-focused collectors in the city.

The floor lean is heavily TCG. Expect deep Pokémon inventory across sealed and singles (Scarlet & Violet era, Sword & Shield chase, and plenty of WOTC vintage), a strong Magic: The Gathering section (Reserved List staples, Commander, Modern, Legacy, and current Standard), Yu-Gi-Oh! singles and sealed, One Piece (OP-01 through the current set), Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Flesh and Blood, and Star Wars Unlimited. Sports side includes MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer, with a good mix of Prizm, Chrome, Donruss, and high-end sealed. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC are everywhere; on-site grading intake booths from PSA and SGC typically accept show submissions Saturday only.

Day-by-day hours: Saturday, July 11 — VIP 9:00 AM, GA 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Sunday, July 12 — GA 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tickets: $10 single day, $15 two-day pass, $35 VIP (includes early entry each day and a swag bag), kids 12 and under free with a paying adult. Tickets available in advance at txcardshows.com and at the door.

Austin Marriott South is at 4415 South IH-35, easy to reach from downtown, the airport, Slaughter Lane, and Buda. Free parking is available in the hotel lot; rideshare drop-off is at the main hotel entrance. The show floor is a single ballroom and foyer, climate-controlled, and wheelchair accessible. The hotel restaurant is open throughout the show and several chain restaurants sit within a short drive.

The Marketplace is an especially good fit for TCG players and collectors. Magic players cherry-pick Commander singles and Reserved List staples, Pokémon players pick up tournament sleeves and singles ahead of summer regionals, and One Piece and Lorcana players find a deeper selection than most local game stores can stock. Sports collectors still find plenty to hunt — the balance skews TCG but the sports floor is active. Families and first-time showgoers also enjoy the calmer ballroom vibe compared to the massive 400-table conventions.

Tips: bring a printed want list sorted by set and card number, cash for the best pricing, and a binder or 400-count box for pickups. For MTG and Pokémon singles, pricing tracks TCGplayer market closely but often beats it by 10–20% on condition-heavy singles when paid in cash. Arrive at VIP if you're hunting specific grails — the cleanest copies disappear fast. Follow @txcardshows for final vendor announcements, signing schedule, and any parking or line updates.
