🃏 About This Event

The Columbus Sports Card Show returns to the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, May 2–3, 2026 for the May edition of central Ohio's largest recurring trading card event. Hosted by Columbus Card Shop, this monthly show has become a staple of the Buckeye collecting scene — regularly drawing 150+ vendor tables and thousands of collectors from Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Grove City, Upper Arlington, and as far as Dayton, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.

The event floor is packed with the full spectrum of the hobby. Sports card dealers stock deep MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer inventory covering every era — vintage Topps, Bowman, and Fleer runs from the 1950s through the 1980s, junk-wax-era staples from the 1990s, and modern releases including Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft, and premium high-end hits from National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate. Given Columbus's proximity to Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Detroit, expect especially strong Cleveland Guardians, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Columbus Blue Jackets team inventory, plus heavy Ohio State Buckeyes representation across football, basketball, and baseball. TCG tables run deep on Pokémon singles and sealed product — from vintage WOTC-era Base Set, Jungle, and Fossil cards through modern Scarlet & Violet hits and Japanese imports — alongside Magic: The Gathering Commander and Standard staples, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Digimon, and Flesh and Blood. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC line locked display cases, and you'll also find autographed memorabilia, Funko Pops, vintage comics, and hobby supplies.

Saturday runs 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT and Sunday runs 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM EDT — a generous weekend window that gives you time to scout on day one and buy aggressively on day two. Admission is free and parking at the Franklin County Fairgrounds lot is free as well, a two-free model that has built genuine long-term loyalty among central Ohio collectors. Free door prizes are distributed throughout the weekend while supplies last, and kids are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

The Franklin County Fairgrounds is located at 4100 Columbia Street, Hilliard, OH 43026, just off Cemetery Road and I-270 — easy to reach from downtown Columbus, the Dublin corridor, and Hilliard proper. The venue is a climate-controlled, ADA-accessible building with restrooms and room for a food truck on-site. Plenty of restaurants along Cemetery Road, Main Street Hilliard, and nearby Dublin are great pre- or post-show options.

This show welcomes a wide range of collectors. Serious buyers come early on Saturday to cherry-pick vintage and modern high-end before the walk-in traffic picks up. Flippers and breakers use the weekend to restock binders, swap case-break hits, and move inventory at local-friendly pricing. Families love the free-entry model — it is common to see kids walking around with pocket money picking up singles, dime-bin finds, and their first graded slab of a favorite Buckeye or Guardian. TCG players shop singles for upcoming Regional Championship Qualifiers and Pokémon League Cups.

For the best results, arrive right at 10:00 AM on Saturday for the freshest inventory, bring cash in small bills for the sharpest per-card pricing (Venmo and Zelle widely accepted as backup), and carry a want list, penny sleeves, top loaders, and a sturdy carrying box. Do a full lap before buying and save the last hour Sunday for deal-making — dealers typically cut prices rather than repack.
