🃏 About This Event

The Cowtown Card Show rolls back into Fort Worth on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Radisson Hotel Fort Worth North–Fossil Creek, kicking off a monthly series that has become one of the most beloved recurring trading card events in Tarrant County. Hosted by Big League Cards, Cowtown has built its reputation on three words: free admission, free parking, free giveaways. That combination, plus 90+ packed tables of sports cards, Pokémon, and collectibles, draws a reliable crowd of Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, and Weatherford collectors every single show.

Vendors fill the ballroom with everything a DFW collector could ask for. Sports card dealers bring extensive MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer inventory covering vintage Topps and Bowman runs, 1980s and 1990s junk-wax staples, and modern releases — Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft, and premium products like National Treasures and Flawless. Local dealers typically stock heavy Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars, and TCU Horned Frogs inventory, which makes Cowtown an especially strong stop for Metroplex team collectors. TCG specialists carry deep Pokémon selection spanning vintage WOTC through the latest Scarlet & Violet sets, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z Fusion World. You will also find graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC in locked cases, autographed memorabilia, vintage comics, Funko Pops, and hobby supplies.

The show runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CDT, a full eight-hour window that rewards both early-morning hunters and mid-afternoon browsers. Admission is completely free and parking in the Radisson lot is also free — a rare and genuinely useful combination for a show this well attended. Free giveaways are distributed throughout the day while supplies last, and kids are welcomed and encouraged.

The Radisson Hotel Fort Worth North–Fossil Creek is located at 2540 Meacham Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX 76106, just off I-820 North and minutes from I-35W — easy to reach from anywhere in the DFW metro. The ballroom is climate-controlled (welcome in a North Texas May that can swing from 70 to 90 in the same day), fully ADA accessible, and includes restrooms, vending, and hotel dining steps away. Plenty of Meacham Boulevard restaurants are within a short drive for a post-show meal.

Cowtown's vibe is famously relaxed and approachable. Veteran dealers use it to move inventory and restock binders. Weekend collectors bring trade binders and want lists to fill long-standing gaps. Families love the free-entry model — it is common to see young collectors walking around with a few dollars of birthday money, picking up singles and dime-bin treasures. Newcomers get friendly dealers willing to explain grading, sleeving, and pricing without pressure.

For the best experience, aim to arrive by 9:00 AM for the freshest inventory before the downtown crowd rolls in. Bring cash in small bills for the sharpest pricing — most dealers also take Venmo and Zelle — and carry a want list, penny sleeves, top loaders, and a sturdy carrying box. Do a scouting lap of all 90 tables before pulling the trigger on any major purchases, then come back hard on your targets. Save the last hour for deal-making; many dealers cut prices rather than repack at day's end.
