The GAS Card Show comes home to Lee's Summit on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2026 for the summer edition of the long-running flagship Kansas City-area GAS weekend show at The Pavilion at John Knox Village. With 200 vendor tables packed into the climate-controlled Pavilion arena floor, this two-day stop has anchored the Kansas City-metro card-show calendar for years and consistently pulls collectors driving in from Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Raytown, Grandview, Belton, downtown Kansas City MO, North Kansas City, Liberty, and across the state line from Overland Park, Lenexa, Olathe, and Shawnee. Early-August timing drops the show right at the front of NFL hobby season — 2026 Panini Prizm Football, Donruss, Score, and the early-week NFL preseason are all live — and on top of the dog-day grind of the 2026 Kansas City Royals MLB season as the trade deadline aftermath shakes out.
The vendor floor packs 200 dealer tables across every corner of the trading card hobby. Sports tables stock deep MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, MMA, soccer, and college football inventory across every era — vintage Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Goudey, Play Ball, and pre-war tobacco runs from the early 1900s through the 1980s, junk-wax 1990s monster boxes, and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft, and premium Topps Dynasty, National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate. Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Sporting Kansas City, Kansas City Current, Kansas City Mavericks, Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas State Wildcats, Missouri Tigers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and St. Louis Cardinals inventory moves consistently and is a Kansas City-metro signature you will not find at out-of-region shows. TCG tables stock Pokémon singles and sealed from vintage WOTC Base through modern Scarlet & Violet, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Star Wars Unlimited, and Flesh and Blood. Doors open Saturday, August 8 from 10:00 AM CDT to 7:00 PM CDT — nine full hours of trading time. Sunday, August 9 wraps the weekend from 10:00 AM CDT to 5:00 PM CDT with the deepest dealer-cut deals of the show. General admission is $5 daily or $8 for a full weekend pass, payable in cash at the door — among the best value-per-dealer-table ratios of any organized show in the Kansas City metro. Kids 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult, and on-site giveaways and door-prize raffles run periodically throughout each day.
