The River City Card Show returns to the Southbank Hotel Jacksonville Riverwalk on Saturday and Sunday, May 16–17, 2026 for a full weekend of trading card action on the banks of the St. Johns River. This two-day show has rapidly become one of the most anticipated recurring events on the North Florida hobby calendar, combining a generous dealer count, free admission, and one of the most scenic show venues in the Southeast.
The show floor covers a wide spectrum of the hobby. Sports card dealers bring everything from pre-war tobacco-era issues and golden-age Topps and Bowman through junk-wax-era stars and into the modern era of Panini Prizm, Select, Donruss Optic, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft, and high-end releases like National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate. MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer are all well represented. TCG vendors stock Pokémon singles and sealed product — including vintage Wizards of the Coast cards, Scarlet & Violet hits, and Japanese imports — alongside Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z Fusion World. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC sit in locked cases, and you will find tables of autographed memorabilia, vintage comics, Funko Pops, hobby supplies, and handmade card-themed art.
Hours run Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, May 17 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT. Entry is completely free and parking at the hotel lot is also free — a rare and welcome combination for a show this size. The two-day format gives collectors the luxury of scouting on Saturday and returning Sunday for targeted buys and end-of-show deals.
The Southbank Hotel is located at 1515 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207, directly on the Riverwalk with views of downtown Jacksonville across the water. The venue is easily reached from I-95, the Acosta Bridge, and the Main Street Bridge. Street parking and additional public lots are available nearby. The hotel offers on-site dining, restrooms, and comfortable climate-controlled ballroom space. The show floor is ADA accessible.
This event is tailor-made for a wide range of attendees. Veteran collectors and dealers treat it as a restocking weekend, often bringing trade binders packed with hits to swap table to table. Casual collectors and families enjoy the free admission and the relaxed pace — kids can explore dime bins and affordable singles while parents hunt for grails. Competitive TCG players use the show to fill out decklists for upcoming regional events. First-timers to the hobby will find plenty of friendly dealers willing to walk them through grading, pricing, and how to spot a good deal.
For the best experience, plan to arrive Saturday morning right at 9:00 AM for the freshest inventory. Bring cash in small denominations — the universal hobby currency — along with a printed or digital want list, penny sleeves, top loaders, and a sturdy box or backpack. Explore the full floor before committing to big purchases, and save Sunday afternoon for aggressive deal-making when vendors are looking to lighten their load before the drive home.
