The Gamer’s Haven has been a cornerstone of Spokane’s gaming community for over 25 years, and owner Bob Kelley’s passion for creating a welcoming, inclusive space is evident the moment you walk through the door. The shop occupies a beautifully renovated 1903 building on West Broadway, with a spacious gaming area upstairs where you’ll regularly find people battling in Magic: The Gathering, rolling dice in Warhammer 40K, or running D&D campaigns. Downstairs, the retail floor stocks an impressive range of Magic sealed product and singles, Warhammer miniatures and paints, board games for every skill level, RPG sourcebooks, and hobby supplies. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable — they’ll happily run free demo games of Warhammer 40K or any other system, with zero pressure to buy. The Gamer’s Haven runs monthly tournaments for most game systems, including the Spokane Spring Open at The Centennial Hotel, which features 7+ game systems and draws players from across the Pacific Northwest. A loyalty rewards program keeps regulars coming back, and the buy-sell consignment program means you can always refresh your collection. With The Wobbly Goblin — an in-house medieval tavern concept — in the works, this already-special space is only getting better.
