A Premium Hockey Brand Returns
Upper Deck Splendor is back for 2025-26 after an eight-year absence, the last release having come in 2017-18. It is a very high-end product: each box contains a single card.
How the Box Works
- One premium hit per box, in a 6 boxes per case configuration.
- Every card is slabbed, serial numbered and carries a QR code that shows an image gallery of the contents.
- Cards feature an on-card signature, a game-used patch, or both, with most numbered to 36 or fewer.
- A 50-subject base set with bordered and borderless designs numbered to 36.
The Chase
Upper Deck highlights ten top rookies with autographed patch versions. The checklist runs from Wayne Gretzky to Connor McDavid and Alex Ovechkin, with newer names like Ivan Demidov. Special inserts include oversized 4 Nations Face-Off memorabilia cards numbered to between 5 and 25 copies, plus dual autographs.
Release Date Caution
Sources disagree on the date. This week's release calendar lists September 30, 2026, while another product page lists July 23, 2026. Confirm with your shop before buying.
