About This Event

The Cowtown Card Show is back at the Radisson Hotel Fort Worth North–Fossil Creek on Saturday, August 8, 2026 for the late-summer edition — always one of the most sports-heavy stops on the Cowtown monthly calendar. With NFL training camps open, MLB pennant races heating up, and college football season just weeks away, August dealer inventories lean heavily into sports cards and collectors come out in force to chase rookie hits, preseason prospects, and veteran vintage.

Expect 90+ vendor tables packed with sports card inventory covering MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer. Vintage dealers bring raw Topps, Bowman, and Fleer from the 1950s through the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s junk-wax favorites, and modern flagship product — Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft, and premium National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate. Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars, TCU Horned Frogs, and Dallas FC product is typically stacked deep at Cowtown — a reliable draw for Metroplex team collectors. Beyond sports, TCG tables carry Pokémon singles and sealed product from vintage WOTC through modern Scarlet & Violet era hits and Japanese exclusives, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z Fusion World. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC fill locked cases, and you will also find autographed memorabilia, comics, Funko Pops, and hobby supplies.

The show runs 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CDT. Admission is free, parking at the Radisson lot is free, and free giveaways are handed out through the day while supplies last. Kids enter free with a paying adult. The ballroom is fully climate-controlled, which is especially important in a Fort Worth August when outdoor temperatures consistently push past 100. The venue is ADA accessible, and restrooms, vending, and hotel dining are steps from the show floor.

The Radisson Hotel Fort Worth North–Fossil Creek sits at 2540 Meacham Boulevard, just off I-820 North. Access from I-35W, I-820, and Loop 820 is quick from any point in the Metroplex, and travel time from downtown Fort Worth is usually under fifteen minutes. Plenty of Meacham Boulevard and Western Center restaurants offer easy pre- or post-show dining options.

This show is a natural draw for sports-first collectors, but the TCG and pop-culture sections keep the floor well balanced. Football collectors flood in for the first big wave of rookie-card inventory from the new draft class. Baseball collectors pick at trade-deadline fallout, scooping up players who landed with new teams. MMA and UFC collectors regularly find deep tables here — Fort Worth has a strong UFC fan base. Families and casual browsers enjoy the low-pressure atmosphere and free admission.

For the best results, arrive right at 9:00 AM for the freshest inventory before the Saturday crowd builds, bring cash in small bills for sharp per-card pricing, and carry a printed want list sorted by team or set. Penny sleeves, top loaders, and a carrying box are essentials. Walk the full floor once before committing to any high-dollar purchases, then circle back for your targets. Save the final hour for deal-making — dealers prefer to discount than repack. Follow Cowtown Card Show on Facebook and Instagram for vendor announcements, giveaway previews, and any schedule updates.
