GalaxyCon Oklahoma City takes over the Oklahoma City Convention Center from Friday, May 28 through Sunday, May 30, 2027 for three days of fandom — and while it is a full pop-culture convention rather than a dedicated card show, it has become a significant stop on the Oklahoma collecting calendar. GalaxyCon's dealer hall is one of the largest collectibles floors the state sees all year, and the celebrity and comic-creator autograph lineup gives collectors access to signatures they would otherwise have to travel out of state to get.
The vendor floor is broad by design. Trading card dealers set up alongside comic, toy and collectible vendors, so expect Pokémon singles and sealed product, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana and Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, plus sports card tables carrying MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC and soccer inventory across vintage Topps, Bowman and Fleer through modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic and Topps Chrome. Graded PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC slabs appear throughout, and CGC and CBCS graded comics are especially well represented — Golden, Silver, Bronze and Modern Age keys, first appearances, manga and original art. Funko Pops are a major category here in a way they are not at a pure card show, alongside action figures, statues, prop replicas, anime merchandise, gaming collectibles and artist-alley original work. Autographed memorabilia is the real differentiator: GalaxyCon books actors, voice actors, wrestlers, comic creators and cosplay guests for paid signings and professional photo ops throughout the weekend.
Hours run Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM CDT, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM CDT, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM CDT. Admission is tiered: single-day tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday, a discounted three-day weekend pass, and VIP packages that bundle early entry, priority autograph and photo-op access and exclusive merchandise. Children under a certain age are admitted free with a paying adult, and kids' tickets are discounted — check galaxycon.com for the current age cutoff. Autographs and photo ops are ticketed separately from admission and should be purchased in advance for popular guests, as they sell out. The Oklahoma City Convention Center is downtown at 100 Mick Cornett Drive, beside Scissortail Park and across from the Paycom Center. There is a large attached parking garage plus additional paid downtown lots, and the OKC Streetcar serves the area directly. Bricktown's restaurant district is a short walk, which makes a full day easy to plan around.
This event suits families, cosplayers, comic readers, casual collectors, autograph hunters and card collectors who enjoy a wider hobby crossover. Pure card collectors should know the trade-off going in: the card selection is broad but shallower than a dedicated show, and admission costs considerably more. Come for the guests and the crossover material rather than expecting a card-show floor.
For the best experience, buy admission and any autograph or photo-op tickets online well in advance, arrive Friday afternoon when the hall is least crowded for serious shopping, and bring cash alongside cards.
