About This Event

Home Town Cards & Collectibles closes out its Summer Card Show Tour on Saturday, September 19, 2026, with a 100-table finale at the Onion Creek Ballroom in South Austin. Home Town runs curated, twice-monthly card shows across the Austin metro, vetting every vendor before they set up, and the Onion Creek date is the biggest stop of the summer series, bringing the ATX-TCG community together in a new premium venue with free entry and free garage parking.

The floor is trading-card-game first. Pokemon leads with vendors offering modern chase cards and special illustration rares, vintage holos, graded slabs, Japanese exclusives, and sealed product. Magic: The Gathering singles and Commander staples, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana, Flesh and Blood, Riftbound, and Gundam Card Game are all represented. A subset of vendors carries sports cards across NFL, NBA, and MLB, with Longhorns and Cowboys inventory common, and you will find Funko Pops and anime collectibles at several tables. Vendor booths sold out in advance, which signals a full room.

The show runs from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The first hour draws the most serious buyers and freshest showcases; the last hour is when vendors are most willing to negotiate rather than pack cards away.

Admission is free and no tickets are required. Parking in the venue garage is also free, which is rare for an Austin show of this size.

The Onion Creek Ballroom is located at 9941 Old Lockhart Road, Austin, TX 78747, off Interstate 35 near the Onion Creek exit in far South Austin, about fifteen minutes from downtown. The ballroom is spacious and air-conditioned, and restaurants along South I-35 and Slaughter Lane are minutes away.

This show suits Pokemon, One Piece, and Magic collectors, families with kids new to the hobby, competitive players hunting singles, and traders who want a big, friendly crowd. Serious sports card buyers should treat it as a TCG event with a sports side room.

To make the most of it, arrive at 11:00 AM for first pick, bring cash for the best deals, and carry a sorted trade binder and a want list. Lap the full 100-table floor before buying, and ask vendors about inventory kept under the table.

For updates and future shows, visit hometown.cards, follow @hometown.cards on Instagram, or call the shop at 512-876-9702. Home Town's fall and winter tour begins October 4 in Pflugerville.

Home Town's shows have a reputation for being personal rather than a cattle call, and the summer finale is a good introduction for anyone who has not attended one. Because vendors are vetted, pricing tends to be fair and consistent across tables, which makes it a comfortable place for newer collectors to make a first purchase or trade.
