The NTX Sports Card Show + TCG takes over NTX Arena in Lewisville on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2026, and it is the flagship sports weekend on the North Texas calendar. TX Card Shows built NTX Arena as a dedicated card show venue rather than renting hotel space, and the difference shows: wide aisles, real lighting, hundreds of vendor tables, and a floor plan designed for a two-day event instead of squeezed into a ballroom. For Fort Worth collectors it is roughly a 40-minute drive up I-35W and 121, and it is worth it.
Sports leads the billing. Expect deep MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL inventory across every price tier — dime and dollar boxes, team lots, set-building commons, mid-grade vintage Topps, Bowman, Fleer, and Donruss, and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, and Bowman Chrome prospects. Graded PSA, SGC, BGS, and CGC slabs fill the showcases, including numbered rookie autographs and Hall of Fame vintage. Early August is peak NFL training camp season in a Cowboys market, so football is the hottest category on the floor, with Rangers, Mavericks, Stars, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, and Baylor material close behind. UFC, boxing, and soccer show up regularly. The TCG half of the billing is not an afterthought: Pokemon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball all get dedicated tables, plus sealed product. Memorabilia, comics, Funko Pops, and supply vendors selling sleeves, top loaders, one-touches, semi-rigids, and storage boxes complete the room. On-site grading submission booths are a regular fixture at NTX shows.
This is a two-day weekend event. NTX Arena is in Lewisville, north of DFW Airport and directly accessible from I-35E and SH 121. On-site parking is available. From Fort Worth, plan for traffic through the mid-cities on a Saturday morning.
This show fits everyone, but it rewards serious buyers and sellers most. With hundreds of tables you can compare four or five copies of the same card before committing, and multiple buyers on the floor means you can shop your collection for competing offers rather than accepting the first number.
Tips: buy tickets in advance, arrive at open on Saturday for first pick, and bring cash in mixed denominations — big rooms move on cash. Carry a want list organized by sport with maximum prices attached. Bring a slab case and top loaders. Do a full lap before your largest purchase, and remember that Sunday afternoon is when dealers start negotiating rather than packing.
