NTX TCG Cards Weekend returns to NTX Arena in Lewisville on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026, and it is the largest dedicated trading card game event on the North Texas calendar. Where the NTX sports weekends put baseball and football front and center, this one flips the room: Pokemon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball take the main floor, and past editions of the TCG weekend have run close to 600 vendor tables. For Fort Worth collectors it is the single best day of the year to chase a specific card rather than hope one turns up.
Pokemon dominates the floor. Expect raw singles by set and rarity, thick binders organized for browsing, Japanese and other international imports, vintage Base Set through Neo and e-Series material, graded PSA, CGC, BGS, and SGC slabs, and sealed product ranging from single packs and booster bundles up through elite trainer boxes and booster boxes. One Piece has become a genuine second pillar at North Texas shows and gets real table space. Magic: The Gathering vendors bring modern staples, commander singles, reserved list material, and sealed boxes. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, and Dragon Ball round out the major titles, and there are usually smaller games represented too. Sports card dealers still work the room, so MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL singles, modern Panini and Topps product, and graded slabs are available — just not the headline. Supply vendors carry sleeves, top loaders, one-touch magnetics, deck boxes, and binders, and on-site grading submission is a regular fixture at NTX events.
This is a two-day weekend show. Day-by-day hours, VIP early-entry windows, and general admission times are published on the TX Card Shows ticketing site as the date approaches; the NTX weekends typically open with a Saturday VIP session ahead of general admission and then run a full Sunday.
Admission is ticketed. General admission and VIP tiers sell in advance online through tickets.txcardshows.com, and advance purchase is cheaper and much faster than standing in the door line at a 600-table show. Children's pricing and age cutoffs are listed on the ticket page.
NTX Arena is a purpose-built card show venue in Lewisville, north of DFW Airport with direct access from I-35E and SH 121, and on-site parking. From Fort Worth it is roughly a 40 to 50 minute drive depending on Saturday morning traffic.
This show is built for TCG collectors and competitive players, but it works for families too — a kid with fifty dollars and a want list will have a genuinely great day. Serious buyers benefit most from the density: with this many tables you can compare multiple copies of the same card on condition and price before committing.
Tips: buy tickets in advance, arrive at open, and carry a want list organized by set with maximum prices. Bring cash in mixed denominations and a second payment method. Sleeve and case anything you buy immediately, and keep valuable slabs on your person, not in an open bag. Do a full lap before your biggest purchase, and check Sunday afternoon for the best negotiating window.
