🃏 About This Event

Twin Oaks Shows brings its Saturday Trading Cards, Comics and Collectibles Show to The Commons at Federal Way on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Twin Oaks has been running free card shows across Washington and Oregon for roughly four decades, and the Federal Way mall dates have grown into one of the most consistently attended recurring events in the South Sound. The Saturday edition is the broader of the two Twin Oaks formats here, widening past cards into comics, toys, and general collectibles.

Because it runs inside an active shopping mall concourse, the show has an unusual character: dealers set up along wide interior walkways, foot traffic mixes serious collectors with shoppers who wandered in, and the whole thing feels more like a hobby street market than a convention. That accessibility is the point.

Expect a genuinely mixed vendor floor. Sports card sellers stock MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer across all eras — 1950s through 1980s vintage Topps, Bowman, and Fleer, affordable junk-wax-era boxes, and modern Panini Prizm, Select, Donruss Optic, Topps Chrome, and Bowman. Seattle Mariners, Seahawks, Kraken, Sounders, Storm, and Washington Huskies material is reliably deep, and Tacoma Rainiers and regional minor-league items surface regularly. Trading card game tables carry Pokémon singles and sealed from vintage WOTC through current Scarlet and Violet sets plus Japanese product, along with Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Digimon, and Star Wars Unlimited. The Saturday format adds meaningful comic book inventory — Golden Age through modern keys, graded CGC slabs, and dollar bins — plus Funko Pops, action figures, retro video games, autographed memorabilia, and hobby supplies.

Show hours run 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time. Admission is free and parking is free, which is the Twin Oaks signature and a large part of why these shows draw families. There is no VIP tier and no early-entry ticket — everyone walks in on the same terms when the doors open.

The Commons at Federal Way is at 1928 South Commons, Federal Way, WA 98003, immediately off I-5 between Seattle and Tacoma, making it one of the easiest venues in the region to reach from either direction. The mall offers a huge free surface lot and garage, indoor climate control, restrooms, elevators, full ADA accessibility, and a food court a short walk from the show floor — genuinely convenient if you are bringing kids or plan to stay for hours.

This show fits nearly everyone. Families love the free admission and the fact that a child with a five-dollar bill can leave with a handful of cards. Comic collectors get a rare South Sound venue that treats books as more than an afterthought. Vintage sports hunters find long-time Northwest dealers with inventory that has never touched an online marketplace. New collectors get patient, low-pressure conversations.

For the best results, arrive close to the 10:00 AM opening, since the strongest raw vintage and underpriced singles move in the first ninety minutes. Bring cash in small denominations plus Venmo, a want list organized by sport or TCG title, penny sleeves and top loaders for protecting pickups, and a bag or small box. Walk the entire floor once before buying — pricing on identical cards varies noticeably table to table. Check twinoaksshows.com for the full 2026 calendar and any date changes.
