Charlie and Lisa Heinisch opened Middle Georgia Sports Cards & Collectibles in Parkway Square on November 21, 2015, and the shop has been filling up ever since. Regulars describe the inventory as wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling, which is accurate rather than flattering: treasure boxes on the tables, showcase cases along the walls, and high-end memorabilia tucked into every remaining sightline. It is the kind of density that rewards a slow lap.

Charlie is a self-described super collector of New York names, Derek Jeter and Thurman Munson chief among them, and that historical bent shapes the vintage side of the store. The store is not only for high-end buyers.
