The Showcase Card Show brings its family-friendly, giveaway-heavy formula back to the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Billed as the Anaheim edition because the hotel sits on Harbor Boulevard a mile south of Disneyland, the show packs more than 200 vendor tables into the Grand Ballroom and is one of the most accessible weekend card shows for collectors coming from Santa Ana, which is only about ten minutes away.
The floor is a mix of trading card games and sports. Pokemon is the headline category, with vendors carrying current-set chase cards, special illustration rares, vintage holos, Japanese sets and graded slabs; One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super fill out the TCG aisles. Sports card dealers bring MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC and soccer singles, rookies, vintage and graded cards, and there is usually a scattering of comics, Funko Pops, toys and other collectibles. The promoter also runs a Pokemon scavenger hunt on the floor, so bring your binder.
Hours are 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, with VIP early access opening at 10:00 AM. General admission is free if you grab a free online ticket in advance through the Ticket Tailor page; walk-ups without an online ticket pay 5 dollars at the door. VIP early-access tickets are sold online. Kids get in free, and the show hands out free Pokemon or sports booster packs to the first 100 people in line, perks packs to the next 100, and a free gift to the first 200 VIP ticket holders, plus raffle drawings throughout the day.
The Hyatt Regency Orange County is at 11999 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92840, at the corner of Harbor and Chapman. Hotel parking is available in the on-site garage at a discounted event rate set by the hotel (typically around 8 to 10 dollars), and the Delta Hotels Marriott across the street, where the Regional SoCal TCG show runs the same day, offers another parking option. Food is available at the hotel's restaurants and at the many places along Harbor Boulevard.
This is a strong choice for families with young Pokemon collectors, for first-timers who want a welcoming show with free entry, and for casual collectors who like the extras: trivia, mascot photo ops and kids' goodie bags. Serious dealers and competitive players will find plenty of inventory too, especially in the graded Pokemon and One Piece cases.
Tips: lines form as early as 7 AM for the free packs, so arrive well before 10 if that matters to you. Get your free online ticket ahead of time to avoid the door fee. Bring cash, a want list and a trade binder, and do a full lap before buying since 200-plus tables means plenty of price competition. Pair this with the Regional SoCal TCG-only show across the street for a full Sunday of card hunting.
