The Throne Card Show returns to the DoubleTree by Hilton San Jose on October 17 and 18, 2026, for its second San Jose weekend of the year, bringing more than 150 vendor tables of sports cards, Pokemon, and trading card games to the city's most familiar card show venue. Launched in 2026 by a team with backgrounds in large-scale conventions, live events, and tech marketing, The Throne has quickly positioned itself as a professional, community-driven show with a stated mission of supporting women in the hobby and creating opportunities for underrepresented vendors.
The floor covers the full hobby. Sports card dealers bring NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL inventory with a strong 49ers, Warriors, Giants, and Sharks presence, from base rookies and dollar boxes to graded slabs, autographs, and numbered parallels. Trading card game vendors stock Pokemon singles, vintage holos, graded cards, and sealed wax, alongside One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. Memorabilia and collectibles fill out the room. The show also frames collecting as an introduction to entrepreneurship and negotiation for younger attendees, and the family-friendly format reflects that.
Hours run Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days. Saturday morning is when the best showcase cards move; Sunday afternoon is bargain time as vendors reduce prices before packing out.
Tickets are sold in advance through the show's Eventbrite page, and advance purchase is recommended to speed up entry. Kids under twelve are free with an adult ticket purchase. Parking at the hotel is five dollars with validation.
