Card Show Weekend Preview June 6 to 7: Delaware Pokedeck Debut, NTX With CGC On-Site, and Free-Entry HobbyCon Orlando

The first full card-show weekend of June lines up across three time zones. Delaware debuts a dedicated Pokemon floor called The Pokedeck, NTX puts CGC on the table for the first weekend after the PSA value pause, and HobbyCon Orlando runs free entry on a TCG-first lineup.

The first full card-show weekend of June lines up across three time zones, and there is a real story at each stop. The Delaware Card Show debuts a Pokedeck floor, NTX Sports Card Show puts CGC on the table in Lewisville, and HobbyCon TCG Expo runs a free-entry TCG weekend in Orlando. If you have been waiting for a show where the TCG side is treated as a headline act, June 6 and 7 is your weekend.

Delaware Card Show β€” Bob Carpenter Center, University of Delaware

The Delaware show is the East Coast headline. 30,000 square feet, 250-plus vendor tables, and a brand-new dedicated Pokemon floor called The Pokedeck running both days at the University of Delaware. The Pokedeck is the swing here β€” the organizers carved out an entire floor for Pokemon and TCG vendors, creators, tournaments, and singles. That is a structural change to how a regional show treats TCG, and it is the kind of layout decision the Northeast hobby scene has been asking for.

  • When: Saturday and Sunday, June 6 to 7, 2026.
  • Where: Bob Carpenter Center, University of Delaware.
  • Why it matters: The Pokedeck floor is the largest dedicated TCG vendor section any East Coast show has run.
  • Don't miss: The on-site tournament schedule on the Pokedeck floor β€” both EX-era throwback formats and current Scarlet and Violet standard.

NTX Sports Card Show β€” NTX Arena, Lewisville, Texas

The Texas show is the grading story. NTX Arena hosts nearly 300 tables, a TCG Corner, and CGC on-site in an official capacity for the entire weekend. On-site CGC means walk-up submissions for cards, comics, video games, and home video, which matters more than usual right now β€” PSA's Value tier pause is two days old, and a real-world grading option without a four-month wait is going to draw a line. Expect long submission queues by Saturday afternoon.

  • When: Saturday and Sunday, June 6 to 7, 2026.
  • Where: NTX Arena, Lewisville, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth metro).
  • Why it matters: First weekend with CGC on-site since PSA paused its four Value tiers.
  • Don't miss: The TCG Corner β€” Lewisville has built a strong Pokemon and One Piece presence over the last six months.

HobbyCon TCG Expo β€” Dezerland Park, Orlando

The Florida show is the TCG-first weekend. Free general admission, two days, Pokemon and One Piece as anchor formats, plus anime culture vendors, guests, and giveaways. HobbyCon is positioned more like a TCG convention than a card show, and the free entry is the entire point β€” it pulls casual collectors and families who would not pay 20 dollars at the door. VIP early access is 15 dollars per day or 20 dollars for the weekend if you want a head start on the vendor floor.

  • When: Saturday and Sunday, June 6 to 7, 2026.
  • Where: Dezerland Park, Orlando.
  • Why it matters: Free entry plus a TCG-first lineup is a hard combination to find in Florida right now.
  • Don't miss: The One Piece vendor row β€” Florida has become an OP hotspot ahead of the OP-17 worldwide release in August.

"Three regional shows on the same weekend with three different strategies. Delaware built the floor for Pokemon. Texas got CGC into the room with PSA paused. Florida went free. Pick the one that fits how you actually collect."

What to Bring

  • Cash: Vendors still prefer it. Cash discounts of 3 to 5 percent are common at all three shows.
  • Submission supplies: Card savers and submission slips if you are dropping cards with CGC at NTX. Pre-fill the forms at home.
  • Top loaders and team bags: The MTG Final Fantasy prerelease overlaps Saturday β€” bring protection for any chase cards you crack at a nearby store.
  • A want list: 30,000 square feet (Delaware) is too big to wing. Decide what you are chasing before you walk in.
