Fanatics Signs Its 7th Exclusive Deal of 2026 With Saudi Arabia's Football Federation

Topps and Fanatics announced an exclusive long-term trading card and TCG deal with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, the company's seventh exclusive collectibles agreement of 2026. With the World Cup underway, the soccer land grab is accelerating.

Fanatics Lands Exclusive Deal Number Seven, and It Is Only June

Fanatics and its Topps brand are not slowing down. The company just announced an exclusive, long-term trading card, sticker, and trading card game licensing deal with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), covering the men's, women's, and youth national teams. By industry counts, it is Fanatics' seventh exclusive collectibles agreement of 2026, and we are barely halfway through the year.

For collectors, the pace of these deals is the headline. Fanatics has spent the past few years methodically locking up the rights that used to be spread across multiple manufacturers, and the SAFF agreement is another brick in that wall.

Why Soccer, and Why Now

The timing is not a coincidence. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup underway across North America, soccer is the hottest category in the global hobby. Tying up national federations now positions Fanatics to control the product pipeline well beyond this summer's tournament, especially as the FIFA license itself moves to Topps in 2031.

The Consolidation Question

Every new exclusive is a double-edged sword for collectors:

  • Upside: A single license holder can deliver consistent, well-funded products and unified design language across a federation's teams.
  • Downside: Less competition can mean fewer choices and more pricing power concentrated in one company.
Seven exclusive deals before July is not a streak. It is a strategy. Fanatics is building a moat, one federation and league at a time.

What to Watch

Keep an eye on how quickly SAFF product actually reaches the market and whether it carries the premium chase elements collectors expect from a modern Topps soccer release. As Fanatics' portfolio grows, the real test is whether the volume of new licenses translates into products worth chasing, or simply more checklists competing for the same wallet.
