Heritage Auctions has announced the centerpiece of its Summer Platinum Night Sports Auction, set for August 22-23 in Dallas: the only existing 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logoman Autographs card featuring Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant - a true 1/1 that has never been offered at public auction until now.
Dual Logoman cards pairing two legends are the hobby's ultimate trophy assets, and this one unites arguably the two most collected players in basketball history on a single card, with both signatures and both game-worn Logoman patches. There is nothing else like it, because by definition there cannot be.
What Could It Bring?
Comparable sales suggest this card enters rarefied air. A LeBron James RPA hit 2.93 million dollars at the Goldin 100 in June, and Kobe's 1997 PMG Green sold privately for 3.15 million dollars earlier this year. A Jordan-Kobe dual with autographs and Logoman patches arguably tops every one of those comps on desirability:
