A Loaded Month for Pokemon Collectors
June is not bringing a brand-new main expansion, but it is absolutely stuffed with product. With Mega Evolution: Chaos Rising having launched on May 22, the Pokemon Company is using June to round out that set and drop several collector-friendly items before the next big release.
What Dropped on June 5
- Chaos Rising Build and Battle Box gives players a ready-to-go prerelease-style experience built around the new Mega Evolution mechanics.
- 2025 World Championships deck replicas are card-for-card recreations of title-contender decks from the 2025 tournament in Anaheim, California, a treat for competitive fans and collectors alike.
- Lumiose City Mini Tins each pack in two booster packs, a sticker sheet, and an art card.
- Mega Moonlit Tin lets you choose between Mega Gengar ex or Mega Clefable ex as the featured card.
Still to Come on June 19
The second series of the First Partner Illustration Collection arrives mid-month, spotlighting fan-favorite starters like Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile with atmospheric artwork and special Illustration Rare promos.
Looking Ahead
The next major expansion, Mega Evolution: Pitch Black, lands July 17 with a darker theme and Mega Darkrai ex as its headline chase card. That makes June a smart window to fill Chaos Rising gaps before attention shifts to the new set.
Tip: tins and Build and Battle Boxes tend to hold their price better than loose booster packs, so they are a safer pickup if you want product that ages well.
