When Central Coast Collectibles opened its third location on South Broadway, owner Tyler Santos built it as the chain's flagship — a space large enough to seat around 60 people for tournament play, which makes it one of the biggest dedicated card shop floors along the Central Coast. Pokemon TCG dominates the front cases, with Magic: The Gathering and sports cards filling out the rest of the sales floor in roughly equal measure.

The shop has weathered real setbacks — a pair of break-ins in the summer of 2026 saw thieves ram the barred front window and make off with a six-figure haul of Pokemon singles — but Santos kept the doors open and has continued pushing forward with expansion plans elsewhere on the Central Coast, a resilience that's earned the Santa Maria location loyalty from regulars who watched it rebuild.
