🃏 About This Event

The ATX Card Show Weekend closes out 2026 in downtown Austin on Saturday, December 19 and Sunday, December 20, and the timing is deliberate: this is the last major card show weekend in Central Texas before Christmas. Produced by Texas Card Shows, the ATX series has grown into the region's flagship recurring hotel show, with recent Austin weekends running 300-plus vendor tables and drawing dealers and collectors from across the state.

The floor spans the whole hobby. Pokemon is a headline category, with vendors bringing WOTC-era vintage holos, modern alt arts and special illustration rares, Japanese imports, sealed booster boxes and elite trainer boxes, and graded PSA, CGC, and BGS slabs. One Piece is a signature draw for this series and gets serious table space, alongside Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z. Sports card dealers cover MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer, running from dollar boxes and team lots through vintage Topps, Bowman, and Fleer and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, and Bowman Chrome prospects, up to numbered rookie autographs and high-end graded material. Memorabilia, comics, Funko Pops, and supply vendors fill out the rest. Texas Card Shows has partnered with Market 2 Mint at recent ATX weekends for on-floor grading support, including pre-grading consultations and bulk submissions to PSA, Beckett, CGC, SGC, and JSA — worth knowing if you want to get a January submission moving.

Past ATX weekends have run a Saturday afternoon-and-evening session followed by a full Sunday, with VIP entering ahead of general admission. The December schedule was still listed as coming soon at the time of writing, so confirm posted hours on the ticket page before you plan around it.

Tickets are sold through tickets.txcardshows.com. Advance pricing at this series has consistently run about half the door price, so buying early is the simplest way to save. VIP adds early entry plus double raffle entries, and early entry carries real weight at a 300-table show where the best-priced material moves in the opening hour. Check the listing for children's admission and weekend-pass options.

Recent ATX weekends have been hosted at the Hilton Austin, 500 East 4th Street, Austin, TX 78701, across from the convention center in the heart of downtown. Parking is paid garage parking — the Hilton garage and the convention center garage are closest — and rideshare is frequently the smarter call on a December weekend downtown. Confirm the venue on the ticket page before traveling.

This show fits serious buyers, dealers, and trading card game players hunting depth, but it also works as a holiday destination: a 300-table floor means gift options at every budget, and downtown Austin in December gives non-collecting family members something to do while you shop.

To get the most from the weekend: buy advance tickets, consider VIP if you have specific chases, and bring cash. Carry a sorted want list with target prices, pack top loaders and a slab case for pickups, and wear comfortable shoes. Do a complete lap before any major purchase, and revisit tables late on Sunday when sellers would rather deal than repack.
