VeeFriends Cards: Where to Buy, How to Play, and What to Collect (2026)
Topps Chrome VeeFriends, the Sapphire Edition and the VeeFriends card game explained in plain English, plus where to find boxes at a card shop near you.
VeeFriends started as Gary Vaynerchuk's cast of cartoon characters and has turned into a real trading card line: Topps prints it on Chrome stock, it has its own competitive card game with an official championship, and the 2026 set doubled in size from the year before. If you have seen VeeFriends boxes at a card shop or in a Whatnot break and wondered what they are, this is the plain-English guide: what to buy, where to find it near you, and how the game works.
VeeFriends cards in one minute
The characters. Each VeeFriends character is built around a personality trait or idea. The cards are about collecting those characters, not players or monsters.
Two kinds of product. There are the Topps Chrome VeeFriends sets, which collect and chase exactly like a Topps Chrome sports set (base, refractors, numbered parallels, autographs), and there is the VeeFriends Trading Card Game, where the same characters are played head to head.
Where it is now. The first Chrome set came out on May 7, 2025, with 100 characters. The 2026 set released June 10, 2026 with 200, followed by a premium Sapphire Edition on July 8.

Before you buy: three honest notes
It is a young market. VeeFriends Chrome is two years old. Prices for the chase cards are set by a smaller pool of buyers than Pokémon or sports, so they can move quickly in both directions. Buy what you enjoy.
Hobby and retail are different products. The hobby-only parallels and the odds below only apply to hobby boxes. A value box from a big-box store is a fun rip, not a shortcut to a Superfractor.
Breaks are the cheap way in. If a $240-plus hobby box is more than you want to spend, a character or random-slot break gets you a share of a box. Read how card breaks work before you join one.
Find VeeFriends at a local card shop
Local hobby shops get hobby-box allocation that big-box stores do not, and many will sell single packs. Call ahead on release days.
