🃏 About This Event

The Bakersfield Card Expo and Collectibles Show returns for its fall 2026 edition on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel, 3100 Camino Del Rio Ct. This is Bakersfield's flagship card show — the premium regional event that filled a two-decade void when it launched in 2024, since large-scale card shows had not happened in the Bakersfield area since 2002. Founders Juan and Chris built it from an 85-table debut with about 1,500 attendees into a twice-yearly destination now drawing 140-plus tables and more than 3,000 spectators per show, with vendors traveling in from across the West Coast.

The floor covers the entire modern hobby. Sports card collectors will find MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL inventory from raw modern rookies to high-grade slabs, while the TCG aisles run deep with Pokemon, One Piece, and other trading card games. Sealed product, graded slabs, memorabilia, comics, vintage toys, and Funko Pops round out the mix, making this a show where families can browse together rather than splitting up — exactly the atmosphere the organizers have deliberately built.

Admission is $5 for adults, kids under 12 get in free, and parking at the DoubleTree is free, which keeps the whole outing affordable for families. Doors run 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific, one clean six-hour window with no VIP tiers to navigate. The DoubleTree sits at Camino Del Rio Court off Highway 99 at Rosedale Highway on Bakersfield's northwest side, an easy exit-and-park location with hotel dining on site and abundant restaurant options along Rosedale and Buck Owens Boulevard for lunch.

Who should attend? Everyone in the Kern County hobby, frankly — this is the one show per season where the local scene, out-of-town vendors, and first-time collectors all converge. Serious collectors get West Coast dealer inventory without a drive over the Grapevine; families get a genuinely kid-friendly floor with affordable boxes; dealers get the biggest local audience of the season; and first-timers get a perfect introduction to how card shows work, with a crowd that skews welcoming.

For the best experience, arrive at or before the 10:00 AM open — with 3,000-plus attendees expected through a hotel venue, the first two hours offer the best selection and shortest lines at the top tables. Bring cash for faster deals and stronger negotiating position, carry a want list, and if you are trading, have your cards sleeved and organized. Walk the full floor once before committing to major purchases, and circle back near 3:00 PM when traveling vendors start pricing to sell rather than repack.

Event details are subject to change, so check bakersfieldcardexpo.com before attending. If you only attend one Bakersfield show this fall, this is the one.
