The Card Syndicate Trade Show returns to Tampa for a full two-day weekend on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel, 4200 Jim Walter Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607. The Syndicate runs a national circuit — Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Chicago, Phoenix, New York, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Orlando are all on the tour — and the Tampa stop draws a mix of touring dealers and Florida regulars that produces a noticeably different inventory than the recurring local hotel shows.
This is a modern-hobby show at heart. The Syndicate's floor is built around Pokemon, sports cards, and the broader trading card game market, with vendor categories that explicitly include TCG sellers, sports card dealers, collectible dealers, artists, and accessory vendors. That last group matters more than it sounds — a show with dedicated supply and accessory tables means you can pick up penny sleeves, toploaders, magnetic holders, binders, and storage on site rather than realizing halfway through the day that you have nowhere safe to put what you just bought.
Expect Pokemon to be a major presence, both English and Japanese, with singles, graded slabs, sealed product, and vintage. Sports cards cover baseball, football, basketball, and hockey across vintage and modern, with graded material in cases at most established tables. One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, and other TCG lines show up alongside them, and artist and creator tables add original work and hobby-adjacent goods that you will not see at a straight sports show. The Syndicate promotes trading, giveaways, and family activities as part of its show format, so the atmosphere skews more toward event than pure marketplace.
The Renaissance Tampa International Plaza is one of the better venues in the city for this. It sits adjacent to International Plaza and Bay Street in the Westshore district, minutes from Tampa International Airport and directly accessible from I-275 and the Veterans Expressway. Hotel parking is on site, and the surrounding area has more restaurant and hotel capacity than anywhere else in Tampa — which makes a two-day visit genuinely practical if you are traveling in for the weekend.
A two-day format rewards a plan. Saturday brings the biggest crowd and the fullest floor; go early if your priority is getting first look at fresh inventory. Sunday is typically quieter, and dealers weighing a long drive home against unsold stock tend to become more flexible on price in the final hours. If you are working a want list, walk the whole floor Saturday and note where things are, then negotiate Sunday.
Bring a want list organized by set and card number. Bring cash for smaller tables and a card or digital wallet for larger ones. Bring supplies for whatever you buy, or budget for the accessory tables. If you plan to trade, sort and organize beforehand, know which cards are actually available, and ask permission before removing anything from a display case or photographing high-value inventory.
