About This Event

The Carmel Pokémon Show takes over American Legion Post 155 on Sunday, September 27, 2026, closing out the month with a full room of trading card games in the heart of Hamilton County. September is a meaningful month for the Pokemon competitive calendar — the new season is under way, League Cups are running across the Midwest, and deck lists are shifting fast, which means singles demand at this show is unusually active. If you play as well as collect, the last Sunday in September is a good time to be in this room.

The dealer floor is built around Pokemon in every form. Vintage sellers bring Wizards of the Coast era product — Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, Gym and Neo — in raw and graded condition, including shadowless and first-edition material in the locked cases. Modern coverage spans Sword & Shield through current Scarlet & Violet releases, with alt arts, special illustration rares, full arts, gold cards and sealed product priced off live comps. Japanese imports are a genuine strength, from loose boosters to sealed boxes and promos that never received an English printing. One Piece Card Game, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Super Card Game and Digimon each get dedicated tables. Accessory vendors carry sleeves, playmats, binders, deck boxes, one-touches and storage, and you will usually find a custom-card artist, plush and pin sellers, and Funko Pops. Bulk bins and dollar boxes are a fixture, which is what keeps this show workable for kids.

Hours run 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern. Admission is free and legion-lot parking is free. Children attend free and are a large part of the crowd — dealers here are notably patient with young collectors, and free-card buckets at the ends of tables are common.

American Legion Post 155 is at 852 West Main Street, Carmel, IN 46032, in old-town Carmel near the Monon Trail. Access is straightforward from US 31, Keystone Parkway and Meridian Street, roughly fifteen minutes from Fishers, Westfield, Zionsville or north Indianapolis. The hall is single-level, air-conditioned and ADA accessible, with a bar area serving drinks and light food. Main Street restaurants are a short walk if you want to make a day of it.

The audience divides cleanly into three groups, all well served. Competitive players come for singles ahead of League Cups and Regional qualifiers. Investors work the graded cases for WOTC-era slabs and modern chase cards. Families and newer collectors work the bulk bins and binder pages, which is where most of the actual trading happens.

Practical advice: arrive at 9:00 AM, because fairly priced vintage graded material is the first thing to move. Bring cash in small bills — TCG dealers at legion shows lean cash-heavy, though most accept Venmo. Bring sleeves and a binder or top loaders so nothing gets bent on the way home, and pull recent sold comps on your phone before committing to anything over about a hundred dollars. If you are selling, bring cards sleeved and organized; dealers pay better for material they do not have to sort. Text Ryan at 317-586-9982 for tables.
