🃏 About This Event

The Central Valley Card Show — August Edition returns to the Clovis Veterans Memorial Building on Sunday, August 30, 2026 for the back-to-school football-kickoff edition of the Fresno area's premier dedicated trading-card and collectibles show. Hosted just minutes from downtown Fresno at 808 Fourth Street in Clovis, this one-day Sunday show packs more than 50 vendor tables of sports cards, TCG, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, autographed memorabilia, anime, toys, and pop-culture collectibles into a climate-controlled hall — and consistently pulls collectors driving in from Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Sanger, Selma, Reedley, Visalia, Hanford, Tulare, Kingsburg, Kerman, and across the broader Central Valley. Late-August timing places the show directly onto the front of the NFL preseason and the immediate aftermath of the National Sports Collectors Convention — historically one of the most product-rich and ripe-for-deals times of the entire calendar with dealers returning from the National with fresh inventory, plus the Fresno State Bulldogs football season opener already on the calendar.

The vendor floor packs every corner of the trading card hobby. Sports tables stock deep MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, MMA, soccer, and college football inventory across every era — vintage Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Goudey, and pre-war tobacco runs from the early 1900s through the 1980s, junk-wax 1990s monster boxes, and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, and premium Topps Dynasty, National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate. Fresno State Bulldogs football and basketball, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, San Jose Sharks, and Vegas Golden Knights inventory moves consistently. TCG tables stock Pokémon singles and sealed from vintage WOTC Base through modern Scarlet & Violet and Japanese exclusives, Magic: The Gathering Commander and Standard staples, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Digimon, Star Wars Unlimited, and Flesh and Blood. Locked cases display PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC graded slabs alongside autographed memorabilia, vintage comics, Funko Pops, and hobby supplies. The August show is the best of the year for NFL rookie pre-season speculation — 2026 Panini Prizm Football, Mosaic Football, and Donruss Football product is racked and ripe for breaking.

Doors open Sunday, August 30 from 10:00 AM PST to 4:00 PM PST for the main show floor. General admission runs $5 at the door, with VIP early-entry tickets up to $15 — VIP grants 9:00 AM access for first-pick of the dealer floor plus a swag bag and bonus raffle entries. Kids 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. Door-prize raffles run hourly with prizes donated by participating vendors — graded rookie cards, sealed boxes, and Pokémon Elite Trainer Boxes are common giveaways. Advance tickets are available through the operator's Facebook event page.

The Clovis Veterans Memorial Building is at 808 Fourth Street, Clovis, CA 93612, just off Highway 168 in Old Town Clovis. The hall is climate-controlled — critical comfort for an August Sunday in the Central Valley — ADA-accessible, and laid out with wide aisles. Free parking is plentiful in the on-site lot and surrounding Old Town Clovis streets, and the Pollasky and Fourth Street corridors have dozens of restaurant options within five minutes including Luna Pizzeria, Old Town Saloon, House of Juju, Iron Bird Café, and Educated Palate.

This show fits every collector type — first-timers, families, casual fans, modern flippers, breakers, prospect hunters, vintage buyers, and competitive tournament players. For the best experience, lock in a VIP ticket for the 9:00 AM early-entry window, bring cash plus Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal backups, and carry a sorted want list. Pack penny sleeves, top loaders, and a hard-sided slab case. Save the last forty-five minutes for negotiation — dealers cut prices before tearing down at 4:00 PM. Follow the operator's Facebook and Instagram pages for vendor previews and special-guest announcements.
