Saturday, September 5, 2026 is an all-day Magic: The Gathering Casual Commander session at CJ Sports and Collectibles inside Cottonwood Mall, with tables open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Mountain Time. Falling in the middle of Labor Day weekend, this is likely to be one of the busiest Saturdays on the store's calendar — more pods, more turnover, and a good mix of regulars and people who only get out to play when there is a long weekend.
Parking is free, abundant, and covered by the mall lot rather than any paid garage. Store hours are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday.
Arrive between noon and 3:00 PM for the most pods forming, or come in the evening if you prefer a smaller, slower table. Follow @cjsportsabq on Instagram or CJSports33 on Facebook for updates.
