Next date: October 9, 2026 →All Decked Trading Cards Casual Commander Night — October 9 dates · Card shows in New Mexico
The final Friday of August brings Casual Commander free play back to Decked Trading Cards on Friday, August 28, 2026, running 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Mountain Time in Rio Rancho. Four hours of open Magic: The Gathering pod play with no entry sheet, no round timer, and no prizes on the line.
The store is at 3301 Southern Boulevard SE, Suite 403, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, on the Southern Boulevard retail corridor with free parking directly outside the door. Friday store hours are 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the longest of the week, so you can browse in the afternoon, grab dinner nearby, and be back for the 6:00 PM start without any dead time.
Practical tips — arrive near 6:00 PM for the widest choice of pods, since later arrivals still get games but the best-matched tables form early; bring a sleeved deck, playmat, dice, and tokens; bring cash or card for singles; and be honest about your deck's power level.
