🃏 About This Event

The Denton Card Show sets up at the Global Spheres Center in Corinth on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and at 170-plus vendor tables it is one of the largest free-admission card shows in North Texas. The Denton County crowd has quietly built one of the healthiest regional hobby scenes in the state, and this show is its centerpiece — big enough to justify the drive from anywhere in the Metroplex, informal enough that nobody feels underdressed.

The table count buys real variety. Sports cards make up a substantial share of the floor: MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL singles from 1950s vintage through the newest chrome and prizm releases, graded PSA, BGS and SGC slabs, sealed hobby wax, star and rookie inventory, and organized commons boxes for set builders. October timing means football and baseball postseason material is front and center. On the trading card game side, Pokemon leads with graded vintage, sealed product and thick singles binders, joined by One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball and Lorcana dealers. Comics, memorabilia, autographs, toys and mixed collectibles fill in the remaining space. Hourly giveaways run throughout the day.

Hours are a single Saturday session, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM — eight hours, which is unusually generous for a one-day show and long enough to work the floor in two passes with a lunch break in between. The 10:00 to 11:30 AM window draws the most competitive buying. Late afternoon is when dealers start sharpening prices.

Admission is free and parking is free, both of which are remarkable at this scale. There is no ticketing and no VIP tier. The show is explicitly family friendly and the organizers lean into that, which shows in how patient the dealer roster is with young collectors.

The Global Spheres Center is at 7801 South Interstate 35 in Corinth, directly off I-35E between Denton and Lewisville. From Arlington the drive is roughly 45 to 55 minutes up Highway 360 to I-635 and north on I-35E, or straight up 377 if you prefer surface roads. The venue has a large, well-lit hall and abundant parking. The Lake Dallas and Corinth I-35 corridor has plenty of food within a couple of minutes.

Who should make the trip? Collectors who want scale without paying convention admission. Set builders, because the commons and bulk boxes at this show are worth digging through. Sports collectors specifically — the Denton County dealer base leans more sports-heavy than the Lewisville arena shows, which skew TCG. Families, on the free-entry math alone. And sellers, since 170 tables means a lot of buying dealers in one room.

Tips for the day: arrive close to the 10:00 AM open if you have a want list, because the vintage and graded material turns over early. Bring cash — it is still the fastest currency at a show this size. Take a full lap and note prices before you buy, because at 170 tables the same card will show up at meaningfully different asks. Wear comfortable shoes. Enter the hourly giveaways.
