The Game Shoppe's Bellevue location hosts its quarterly sanctioned Play! Pokémon League Cup on Saturday, September 19, 2026 — the biggest competitive Pokémon TCG event on the Omaha-metro calendar each quarter and a must-attend for any Nebraska player chasing Championship Points in the 2026-2027 season. Held in the dedicated play space at 1406 Harlan Drive in Bellevue, the Cup draws the full regional competitive community: Omaha, Millard, Elkhorn, Papillion, La Vista, Ralston, Council Bluffs, and serious players making the hour drive from Lincoln and Fremont, because League Cups are scarce in Nebraska and every one counts.
Pokémon Standard rotation at pokemon.com before finalizing your 60-card deck, as early-season Cups follow the fresh post-rotation format where the metagame is at its most open.
Expect check-in and registration to open around 10:00 AM CDT with the first Swiss round starting around 11:00 AM CDT; plan on five to seven Swiss rounds based on attendance, a single-elimination top cut, and a finish in the late afternoon or early evening. Entry typically runs $20 to $25 at the counter and seating is capped, so pre-register through the store as soon as the event posts.
