Inside Pitch Promotions brings the NC Collector's Roadshow back to the NC State Fairgrounds for the Fall Raleigh edition the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2026. Held at the Kerr Scott Building at 1025 Blue Ridge Road on the west side of Raleigh, this two-day show fills the Kerr Scott floor with 225+ vendor tables stocked with sports cards, toys, Pokémon, comics, Hot Wheels, and collectibles. Mid-September timing puts the show right in the heart of NFL early-season frenzy — week three of the regular season just wrapped, MLB pennant races are tightening into wild-card territory, NCAA football is three weeks deep with ACC matchups loading up, and the NBA preseason is just over the horizon. Football cards explode in value this time of year and the dealer floor reflects it.
The vendor floor covers every corner of the hobby. Sports tables stock deep MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, MMA, soccer, and college football inventory across every era — vintage Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Goudey, Play Ball, and pre-war tobacco issues from the early 1900s through the 1980s, junk-wax 1990s monster boxes, and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft, and premium Topps Dynasty, National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate. NFL rookie cards from Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr., Brock Bowers, Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, and the 2025 and 2026 rookie classes will be everywhere. Carolina-team inventory anchors the local cases — Panthers, Hornets, Hurricanes, NC State, UNC, Duke, Wake Forest, ECU, App State. Pokémon dealers stock singles and sealed product across every era from vintage WOTC Base through modern Scarlet & Violet, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Star Wars Unlimited, and Flesh and Blood. Toy tables stock Hot Wheels, Matchbox, vintage Star Wars, Transformers, G.I. Joe, He-Man, Funko Pops, vintage action figures, and comic books.
Hours run Saturday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern. General admission is just $5 for adults, a $7 weekend pass covers both days, and kids 10 and under enter completely free with a paid adult. Free parking covers the surrounding fairgrounds lots. Dealers consistently hand out free packs and base singles to engaged younger collectors.
The NC State Fairgrounds Kerr Scott Building sits at 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607, on the west side of town a few minutes off I-440 and US-1, with easy access from I-40 via the Wade Avenue exit. The Kerr Scott Building is climate-controlled, ADA-accessible, and laid out with wide aisles for cart-and-stroller traffic. PNC Arena and Carter-Finley Stadium sit right next door — the Hurricanes home opener is typically just weeks away by this date and NC State football is mid-season at Carter-Finley. Lunch options include MoJoe's Burger Joint, Player's Retreat, Cookout, and the Hillsborough Street corridor near NC State campus.
This show fits every collector profile — first-timers, families, casual fans, modern football flippers, NFL rookie hunters, vintage diggers, Pokémon players, and toy collectors. For the best experience, arrive at 9:00 AM Saturday for first dibs on freshly-stocked tables, bring cash plus Venmo and Zelle backups, and carry a sorted want list of the rookies and parallels you actually want. Pack penny sleeves, top loaders, and a slab case.
