🃏 About This Event

The Northwest Valley Coin & Card Show sets up at the DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix North on Saturday, September 19, 2026, bringing its distinctive blend of numismatics and cardboard to the Metrocenter corridor. The coin-and-card pairing is what makes this show different from every other event on the Phoenix calendar: you can hunt a 1968 Topps star card and a Morgan dollar at adjacent tables, and the crossover dealer base means graded material of both kinds is unusually well represented for a hotel show.

On the card side, expect roughly forty tables weighted toward sports. Baseball dominates, with vintage Topps and Bowman runs, 1970s and 1980s star cards, complete sets and team lots, plus modern MLB rookies, refractors and autographs. Football and basketball dealers bring Prizm, Optic and Select parallels alongside rookie patch autographs, and you will find NHL, UFC, boxing and soccer inventory in smaller quantities. Trading card games appear too, mainly Pokemon singles and sealed product with some Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! mixed in. On the coin side, tables carry US type coins, silver and gold bullion, graded slabs from PCGS and NGC, currency, tokens and estate jewelry. Memorabilia, signed baseballs, comics and supplies round out the floor.

Hours run 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, a single clear Saturday window. Admission has historically been free or a nominal door fee at this show, though aggregators currently list the price as unconfirmed, so bring a few dollars in case there is a door charge. Children are welcome with an adult, and there is no separate early-buyer ticket to purchase.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix North sits at 10220 N Metro Parkway East, immediately off Interstate 17 at Peoria Avenue in the Metrocenter area. Parking is free and the lot is large, the ballroom is fully air-conditioned, and the venue is easy to reach from anywhere in the north or west Valley. A hotel ballroom show also means carpet underfoot and good lighting, both of which matter more than people expect when you are inspecting raw vintage.

This show is a natural fit for set builders, vintage collectors, coin collectors and anyone who likes a manageable room they can cover thoroughly in an hour or two. It is also a genuinely good first show for newcomers, because the dealer base skews toward long-time local sellers who are happy to explain grading, population reports and what actually drives value. Serious buyers should note that mixed coin-and-card shows often leave card material slightly underpriced, since some dealers here are primarily coin people clearing inherited cardboard.

To get the most out of it: be at the door close to 9:00 AM, since the freshest material moves early at a five-and-a-half-hour show. Bring cash, which earns real discounts from dealers avoiding card fees. Carry a want list with your target prices, plus sleeves and top loaders for raw purchases. If you are selling, organize by sport and era before you arrive.

Further Northwest Valley dates follow on October 24, November 21 and December 19 at the same venue, so it is easy to make this a monthly stop.
