🃏 About This Event

The Odessa Card Show returns to the Ector County Coliseum on Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29, 2026, the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving. That timing is the whole story with this one. Families are already gathered, kids are out of school, holiday shopping is underway, and dealers show up with inventory chosen specifically for gift buyers. It is consistently one of the best-attended card shows in the Permian Basin each year.

The practical effect on the floor is more sealed product, more complete sets, more starter-friendly Pokemon and sports bundles, and more display-ready graded slabs in gift-appropriate price ranges than you will see at a midsummer show. The vintage and high-end material is still here, but it shares space with a lot of merchandise chosen to be wrapped. Sports tables run MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, MMA, soccer, and college football across every era: pre-war tobacco, Goudey and Play Ball, Topps and Bowman from the 1950s onward, 1980s and 1990s wax and monster boxes, and current-year Panini Prizm, Donruss, Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, and Bowman Draft. National Treasures, Flawless, Immaculate, and Topps Dynasty appear in the locked cases. Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, and Texas Tech inventory is deepest, matching regional demand.

Trading card games are well represented, with Pokemon leading: singles and sealed from vintage WOTC through current Scarlet & Violet and Japanese imports, followed by Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z Fusion World. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC fill cases throughout the hall, alongside autographed memorabilia, jerseys, comics, Funko Pops, toys, and hobby supplies.

Saturday hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Time and Sunday hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time. Odessa is on Central Time, an hour ahead of El Paso, which is easy to forget on a holiday weekend. Admission pricing is not published on the aggregators, so confirm the door price with the promoter; kids typically enter free at this venue's shows but that should be verified too.

The Ector County Coliseum is at 4201 Andrews Highway, Odessa, TX 79762, with large free on-site parking and easy access from Loop 338 and I-20. The building is climate-controlled and ADA-accessible, with wide aisles and good lighting for inspecting cards before you commit.

Who should attend: holiday shoppers, families with kids new to the hobby, set builders, graded-card buyers, and collectors from El Paso, Lubbock, San Angelo, and southeastern New Mexico who use the long weekend for a road trip. First-timers will find this an unusually welcoming show because so much of the floor is priced for casual buyers.

Tips: arrive early Saturday, because holiday-weekend crowds here are real and the best gift-priced sealed product goes first. Set a budget before you walk in. Bring cash, a want list, penny sleeves, top loaders, and a hard slab case. If you are shopping for someone else, take a photo of anything you are considering and compare across three tables before buying. Sunday afternoon remains the best negotiating window of the weekend.
