🃏 About This Event

The SA TX Card & Collectible Show takes over the Schertz Civic Center on the last weekend of September, giving collectors across the northeast San Antonio corridor a two-hall show without a drive into the city core. Schertz sits right off I-35 between San Antonio and New Braunfels, and this recurring show has grown into one of the larger regular weekends on the local calendar, with organizers regularly filling more than 175 tables across the Civic Center's two adjoining halls.

The vendor mix is deliberately broad. Sports card dealers bring MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing and soccer inventory, ranging from dime boxes and team lots up through modern rookie patch autographs and graded vintage slabs. Trading card game tables are just as strong, with Pokemon anchoring the TCG side alongside Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball singles and sealed product. Beyond cards you will find Funko Pops, anime figures, comics, sports memorabilia, and the odd table of vintage toys that makes a lap of the room worth taking even if you came in with a narrow want list.

Hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 26 and again 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 27. Tickets are sold through the show's Eventbrite page, and the event is listed as all-ages with free on-site parking. Because this is a recurring listing, buying online in advance is the surest way to lock the correct date and skip the door line.

The Schertz Civic Center is at 1400 Schertz Parkway, a short hop off I-35 at the Schertz Parkway exit, with a large free lot wrapped around the building. That easy in-and-out is a real part of the appeal for collectors coming from Cibolo, Universal City, Converse, Live Oak, Selma and New Braunfels, all of which are inside a twenty-minute drive.

This show suits a wide range of attendees. Families get an air-conditioned, walkable floor with plenty of low-price boxes for kids to dig through. Casual collectors get enough variety to fill gaps in several different collections at once. Serious dealers and investors get a room big enough to compare multiple sellers on the same card, which is exactly the leverage a two-hall show provides.

For the best experience, arrive close to opening on Saturday, when vendor inventory is at its deepest and fresh consignment hits the tables. Bring cash even though most vendors run card readers, since cash still moves the needle on a negotiated price. Carry a written want list and a penny-sleeve supply so anything you buy gets protected before it goes in the bag. If you are hunting graded material, bring a loupe or use your phone's camera to inspect edges and centering, and ask sellers directly about return policies on raw cards.

For table availability, current ticket pricing and confirmation of the exact weekend dates, check the organizer's Eventbrite page or the SA TX Card Show page on Facebook, where date changes and vendor announcements are posted first.
