Paradise Card Show, one of the most recognizable names in Hawaii's trading card scene, returns to The Republik at 1349 Kapiolani Boulevard in Honolulu on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Organized by Javin and sponsored by ToyLynx and the GetNutz culture brand, Paradise has grown from a small pop-up into a show that draws well over a thousand collectors at its biggest editions; the March 2026 show topped 1,400 attendees. The October edition is the first of three fall and winter dates at the Republik.
Paradise is a Pokemon-first show and proud of it. The vendor floor is dominated by Pokemon singles from every era, Japanese booster boxes and promos, graded slabs, and sealed product, with a heavy emphasis on the current chase cards and illustration rares that drive the hobby. The show is also known for strong keiki programming, with kid-friendly activities, giveaways, and affordable dollar boxes that make it a genuine family event. Beyond Pokemon, expect One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, and Dragon Ball tables, plus a handful of sports card dealers with NBA and NFL rookies and graded cards. Local streetwear and collectibles brands usually set up as well.
The 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM window is a signature of this show. The afternoon start lets vendors set up properly and lets attendees hit an earlier event, such as the 808 Cards and Collectibles Show that morning, before coming to town. The busiest stretch is from opening until about 4:00 PM; the last two hours are the best for deals.
The Republik is a concert venue in the Kapiolani corridor between Ala Moana and Kakaako, tucked into the Republik Plaza at 1349 Kapiolani Boulevard. Parking is available in the plaza's garage at hourly rates and in nearby lots and metered street parking; Ala Moana Center's free garages are a short walk away. The venue is indoor, air conditioned, and has a bar; the surrounding blocks have plenty of restaurants.
