Hawaii Shows presents Pokemon, Sports Cards & More at the Ala Moana Hotel on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Billed as Hawaii's Premier Collectors Show, this edition spreads more than 100 vendor tables across both the Hibiscus Ballroom and the Garden Lanai, making it one of the largest single-day card shows on Oahu this fall and the flagship of the Hawaii Shows monthly series.
The name says it all: the floor is split fairly evenly between Pokemon and sports, with a healthy dose of everything else. On the Pokemon side, look for modern chase cards, Japanese imports, sealed product, and graded vintage from PSA and CGC. Sports card dealers bring deep inventory of MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL rookies, autographs, and vintage, with particular strength in Hawaii-connected athletes and the current crop of rookie quarterbacks and NBA lottery picks. The more section covers One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, Dragon Ball, comics, Funko Pops, memorabilia, and vintage toys. Some vendors also offer on-site grading submission drop-off.
Admission is $5 at the door, and children 12 and under are free with an adult. Every attendee also gets to play the free Quest, a scavenger-style challenge that sends you around the floor to participating tables for a chance at prizes. It is a great way to make sure you see every corner of both rooms.
The Ala Moana Hotel is at 410 Atkinson Drive, directly beside Ala Moana Center and a short walk from the beach park. Parking is available in the hotel's garage at event rates, and the Ala Moana Center garages next door offer plentiful free parking with a short walk. The Hibiscus Ballroom is on the hotel's second floor; the Garden Lanai is the adjoining outdoor terrace space, so expect part of the show to be under cover with open air. Ala Moana Center's food court and restaurants are steps away.
With 100-plus tables, this show suits everyone from families and first-timers to serious dealers. It is big enough that you can spend the full day, but organized enough that you can move through it efficiently. Competitive TCG players will find singles for decks; vintage collectors will find slabs; and casual fans will find plenty under $20.
Tips: arrive at or before 10:00 AM for the shortest line and the best selection, bring cash even though most dealers accept cards, keep a want list, and use the Quest card to plan a route through both rooms. The last hour of the show is prime time for deals as vendors begin consolidating.
