The Regional SoCal Cards & Collectibles Show takes over the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Garden Grove across the weekend of August 29 and 30, 2026, and it does it with free entry and free parking on both days. Hotel ballroom shows have a specific character in Southern California — climate controlled, carpeted, quieter than a convention hall, and small enough that you can talk to every dealer in the room without losing your voice. The Regional has built a following on exactly that.
The floor is genuinely mixed. Sports dealers bring MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL, with strong prospect and rookie inventory and a healthy amount of graded material from PSA, SGC, CGC and Beckett. Soccer has grown noticeably at Southern California shows and this one usually has at least a couple of tables working Topps Chrome UEFA and Panini national team product. On the trading card game side, Pokemon leads, with Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super filling in. Vintage bins, sealed wax, memorabilia, Funko Pops and a handful of comic dealers round out the mix.
Hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 29, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM again on Sunday, August 30. Both days are identical in format — there is no early-bird tier, no VIP upgrade and no separate wristband. Entry is free for everyone, kids included, which makes this an easy first show for a family that is not sure whether the hobby is going to stick.
The hotel is at 12021 Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove, a stretch of Harbor that runs straight up toward the Anaheim resort district. Parking is free in the hotel lot, and because the show shares the property with a working hotel there is a lobby, restrooms and a bar and restaurant on site if you need a break. Harbor Boulevard is thick with food options in both directions, and Garden Grove's Korean and Vietnamese restaurants along Garden Grove Boulevard are a short drive west.
The crowd skews toward serious local collectors and the region's mid-tier dealer network rather than out-of-state heavyweights. That is the appeal: prices tend to be reasonable because the vendors are competing with each other for repeat local business rather than chasing a once-a-year convention crowd. Trade is common and welcomed at most tables.
Bring cash if you want the best price, though nearly every dealer takes Venmo or Zelle. Bring a want list, and bring the cards you are willing to move — this is a strong trading room and dealers here will look at your binder. Walk the full floor before you commit; the room is compact enough to lap in twenty minutes and the same card often appears at three different asks. Saturday has the deepest inventory, Sunday afternoon has the softest prices.
