The Sacramento Card Show — September Weekend returns to Hall C of the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center on Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026 for the back-to-school football-kickoff edition of D & P Sports Cards' three-day Sacramento Card Show. Hosted right in downtown Sacramento at 1401 K Street, this three-day weekend show is the largest dedicated trading-card and sports-collectibles event in Northern California and consistently pulls collectors from Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, Roseville, Rocklin, Citrus Heights, Carmichael, Davis, Stockton, Modesto, Reno, the Bay Area, and across Northern California. Late-September timing places the show directly onto the front of the NFL regular season, the MLB stretch run with the Athletics, Dodgers, and Giants chasing the postseason, the Sacramento State Hornets football season, and the post-National Sports Collectors Convention restock cycle.
The vendor floor packs Hall C wall to wall. Sports tables stock deep MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, MMA, soccer, and college football inventory across every era — vintage Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Goudey, and pre-war tobacco runs from the early 1900s through the 1980s, junk-wax 1990s monster boxes, and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, and premium Topps Dynasty, National Treasures, Flawless, and Immaculate. Sacramento Kings, River Cats, Oakland Athletics, Giants, Dodgers, Padres, 49ers, Raiders, Rams, Warriors, Lakers, Sharks, Golden Knights, Sacramento State Hornets, UC Davis Aggies, and Sacramento Republic FC inventory moves consistently. This September show is the best of the year for NFL rookie speculation — 2026 Panini Prizm Football, Mosaic Football, and Donruss Football product is racked and ripe for breaking. TCG tables stock Pokémon singles and sealed from vintage WOTC Base through modern Scarlet & Violet and Japanese exclusives, Magic: The Gathering Commander and Standard staples, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Digimon, Star Wars Unlimited, and Flesh and Blood. Locked cases display PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC graded slabs alongside autographed memorabilia, vintage comics, Funko Pops, and hobby supplies.
Doors open Friday September 18 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM PST for VIP early-entry, Saturday September 19 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST for the full main-show floor, and Sunday September 20 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST for the closing day. General admission runs around $10 per day at the door; weekend and VIP passes are available through Eventbrite at higher tiers. Kids 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. On-site PSA, SGC, and CGC submission booths typically operate all three days with show-special pricing.
The SAFE Credit Union Convention Center sits at 1401 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, in downtown adjacent to the Capitol Mall and four blocks from Golden 1 Center. The hall is climate-controlled, ADA-accessible, and laid out with wide aisles. Paid parking is plentiful in the K and J Street garages, and downtown Sacramento has hundreds of restaurant options within five minutes including Ella Dining Room, Mulvaney's B&L, Buckhorn Grill, and the Old Sacramento waterfront.
This show fits every collector — first-timers, families, casual fans, modern flippers, breakers, prospect hunters, vintage buyers, and competitive tournament players. For the best experience, lock in a VIP ticket for Friday early-entry, bring cash plus Venmo and Zelle backups, and carry a sorted want list. Save the last forty-five minutes Sunday for negotiation — dealers cut prices before tearing down at 4:00 PM.
