About This Event

SoCal Card Con opens its September residency in Rowland Heights with a three-day show running Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13, 2026 at STC Rowland Legacy, 18993 Colima Road. This is the first of three back-to-back weekends the promoter has booked at the same San Gabriel Valley venue, and it is built around one idea that collectors love: free admission, free parking, and a floor that is almost entirely trading card games. If you have been waiting for a low-cost, high-volume TCG show on the east side of Los Angeles County, this is it.

The vendor mix is TCG-first. Expect Pokemon to dominate — raw singles, graded slabs, vintage WOTC-era holos, sealed Scarlet & Violet product, Japanese exclusives, and binders of trainer gallery and illustration rares. One Piece is the second pillar, with leaders, alt-arts, and manga rares changing hands all weekend. Riftbound, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering fill out the tables, and several dealers bring TCG accessories, merch, art prints, and sealed booster boxes. Sports cards are not the focus here, so baseball and basketball hunters should treat this as a TCG trip.

Hours are staggered across the weekend. Friday, September 11 is an evening session from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, which suits after-work traders. Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 both run 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free every day, and there is no VIP tier — everyone walks in on the same footing. The first 50 attendees each day receive a free Pokemon or One Piece booster pack, community raffle tickets are handed out free to everyone, and giveaways run throughout the show. On-site security is posted, which matters at a show where high-value slabs are on the table.

STC Rowland Legacy sits on Colima Road in the heart of Rowland Heights, just south of the 60 freeway at Nogales Street. Parking in the center's lot is free for attendees. The venue draws from Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, Diamond Bar, Walnut, West Covina, La Puente, Whittier, and Brea, and the surrounding plaza has plenty of boba shops and restaurants for a mid-show break.

Who should attend? Pokemon and One Piece collectors of every budget, trade-binder regulars who want a social floor, families who want a free weekend outing with a giveaway for the kids, and dealers scouting a new venue. Because it is free, first-timers can drop in for an hour with zero commitment.

To get the most out of it, line up before Friday's 4:00 PM open or Saturday's 11:00 AM open if you want the free pack — the first-50 allotment goes fast. Bring cash for the quickest deals, plus Venmo and Zelle as backups. Carry a sorted trade binder, a want list with target prices, and a slab case for pickups. Friday evening is the quietest session and the best time to negotiate; Sunday afternoon is when vendors soften on price before packing down.
