🃏 About This Event

The Space City Sports Cards and Collectibles Expo returns to the Fort Bend County Epicenter in Rosenberg on December 19 and 20, 2026, landing on the last full weekend before Christmas. That timing makes it the single best gift-shopping stop on the Houston-area hobby calendar: free admission, a large expo hall, and a vendor mix deliberately built around more than just cards, so a collector, a comic reader, and a retro gamer can all be shopped for under one roof.

The organizers run this show under six headline categories — cards, memorabilia, Pokemon, comics, Funko, and video games — and the floor genuinely delivers on all of them. Sports card dealers bring MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, boxing, and racing inventory ranging from bargain boxes and commons through mid-grade vintage stars, modern rookies, and graded slabs in display cases. Pokemon and other trading card game vendors carry singles, sealed product, and premium display pieces. Beyond cards you will find autographed memorabilia, comic long boxes, retro consoles and cartridges, vintage toys, Funko sellers, and supply vendors stocking sleeves, top loaders, and storage boxes.

Hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. Admission is free for all attendees both days, parking at the Epicenter is free, and no advance ticket is needed. The series runs giveaways and raffles across the weekend, so check in at the entrance table when you arrive to see how entries work.

The Fort Bend County Epicenter sits at 28505 Southwest Freeway in Rosenberg, directly off US-59, roughly forty minutes southwest of downtown Houston and very convenient for Sugar Land, Richmond, Katy, Missouri City, and Fort Bend County generally. It is a modern expo facility — open floor plan, high ceilings, wide aisles, and a large paved lot — which makes it considerably easier to navigate with kids or a rolling case than a hotel ballroom.

A free, family-friendly, mixed-collectibles show in the week before Christmas is a specific kind of useful. Parents can bring a child with a twenty-dollar budget and let them pick something. Adults can find a gradeable rookie, a sealed box, or a slabbed vintage card without a ticket cost on top. And because dealers are actively trying to clear inventory before year end, December is one of the better months to negotiate.

Come with cash in mixed denominations, a want list broken out by sport, set, or character, and something rigid to carry purchases home in. Do a full lap of the hall before you commit to anything significant — with a floor this size, the same card frequently appears at several tables at different prices. Ask before removing anything from a display case, and for graded cards confirm the company, the grade, and the certification number in hand.
