🎪 About This Event

TCG-Kon rolls into the Triple Crown Pavilion on Sunday, December 6, 2026 for its Louisville stop, billed as a mega card convention rather than a card show — and the distinction is real. TCG-Kon is a national road tour built specifically around trading card game collecting, and it arrives with a convention structure: guest appearances, artist tables, tournament and side-event space, giveaways and a vendor hall stocked by dealers who follow the tour from city to city. For Louisville collectors whose interests run more toward Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic than toward sports, this is the biggest single day on the local calendar outside of the Pokémon Regionals weekend.

The 2026 Louisville stop features special guest Kyle Igneczi, the voice actor known to trading card game and anime audiences for work across Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon and numerous anime series. Guest programming at TCG-Kon typically includes autographs, photo opportunities and panel time; check the event page for signing schedules and whether autographs are ticketed separately.

The vendor hall is the heart of the day. Expect deep Pokémon inventory spanning the game's full history — WOTC-era Base Set, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket, Neo and e-Card series, EX through XY, Sun and Moon, Sword and Shield and current Scarlet and Violet product, plus a strong Japanese import presence including promos and sealed items that never see a US release. Magic: The Gathering dealers bring Commander and Standard staples, Modern and Legacy pieces, reserved-list cards and sealed product. Yu-Gi-Oh! tables cover vintage through current, and One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Digimon, Star Wars Unlimited and Flesh and Blood all have real representation rather than token shelf space. Sports card dealers attend as well, with Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Topps Chrome and Bowman product plus graded material. Locked cases display PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC slabs across every tier, and on-site grading submission is commonly offered. Playmats, sleeves, deck boxes, binders, dice, plush, figures and hobby supplies are widely available, and artist alley tables sell original and alt-art work.

This is a one-day Sunday event running 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern — a full seven hours, which is appropriate for a convention-format floor with side events running alongside the shopping. The event is all ages.

Tickets are sold in advance through Eventbrite as well as at the door, and the organizer's stated policy is no refunds, so buy accordingly. Check tcgkon.com and the Eventbrite listing for current general-admission and any early-entry or VIP pricing, children's admission policy, and the schedule of tournaments and side events. Parking is free.

The Triple Crown Pavilion is at 1780 Plantside Drive, Louisville, KY 40299, in Jeffersontown just off I-64 and minutes from the Gene Snyder Freeway. It is a climate-controlled, single-level, ADA-accessible ballroom venue with an ample free parking lot, and the surrounding commercial strip has plenty of lunch options.

This convention is built for trading card game players and collectors, families with kids deep in Pokémon, competitive players hunting staples, autograph seekers and anyone who wants a genuine convention experience close to home.

Buy tickets in advance, arrive near the 10:00 AM open, bring cash plus digital payment options, carry a want list organized by set and card number, and pack sleeves, top loaders and a hard case for anything you buy.
