🎪 About This Event

TCGtopia XII takes over the Phoenix Shrine Auditorium & Event Center at 552 N 40th Street on Saturday, October 17, 2026, bringing the Valley's flagship trading card game convention back for its twelfth edition. TCGtopia has grown into the event Phoenix TCG collectors circle on their calendars — a full day of vendors, trading, giveaways, and community that treats card games as the main event rather than a sideshow.

The vendor floor covers the entire TCG landscape. Pokémon is the biggest draw, with vintage WOTC-era holos, graded slabs, Japanese exclusives, modern chase cards, and walls of sealed product. Magic: The Gathering dealers bring Commander staples, Reserved List cards, and singles across every format. Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball round out the game lineup, and the room typically includes anime collectibles, Funko Pops, plush, and a handful of sports card crossover vendors. Expect a strong trading culture too — open trade tables and binder-to-binder deals are a signature of this series, and the prize drawing gives every attendee a shot at going home with extra loot.

Hours run 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, one of the longest single-day windows of any Valley card event, which leaves time to browse, trade, and circle back for end-of-day deals. General admission is $10 at the door, and kids get in free with a paying adult — an unusually family-friendly ticket structure for a show of this size. No separate VIP tier is advertised for this edition, so everyone works from the same start line.

The Phoenix Shrine Auditorium offers free on-site parking, a big advantage over convention-center events, and sits just off the Loop 202 near Sky Harbor, putting it within an easy 20-minute drive of Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, and central Phoenix. The hall is air-conditioned and single-level, with food options along the nearby 40th Street and Van Buren corridors when you need a break.

TCGtopia suits everyone from kids opening their first packs to spreadsheet-driven collectors hunting graded vintage. Competitive players can fill playsets efficiently with so many singles dealers in one room. Collectors chasing high-end slabs should work the display cases early, and traders will find more active binder traffic here than at almost any other Arizona event.

To maximize the day: arrive at the 10:00 AM open, since the best vintage and chase singles move in the first two hours. Bring cash for negotiating power, a want list with current market prices, and your trade binders — organized, priced binders do serious business at this show. Hydrate, wear comfortable shoes, and stick around for the prize draw. In the final hour, vendors who would rather not pack inventory become noticeably more flexible.

For updates, vendor announcements, and ticket details, check the TCGtopia listing on tcgshowsnearme.com and the organizer's social channels. Coming three weeks after the Cactus TCG Show at the same venue, TCGtopia XII caps a strong fall run for Phoenix TCG collectors.
