Presidio Comics brings its Tucson Card Fest back to Tucson Mall for a second run, and Part Deux lands on Saturday, August 22, 2026 with a bigger vendor floor than the July debut. Staging a card show inside a working shopping mall is an unusual move, and it is exactly why this event punches above its weight: the tables sit in the open center court where thousands of weekend shoppers walk past, which means the crowd is a genuine mix of hardcore collectors and curious first-timers who wandered over from the food court.
The vendor mix leans hard into trading card games and comics, which is Presidio Comics territory. Expect deep Pokemon inventory across modern sets and older Wizards-era product, Magic: The Gathering singles and sealed, Yu-Gi-Oh! staples, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z. Sports card dealers round out the floor with MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL boxes, wax, and single cards, along with graded slabs from PSA, BGS, and CGC. Because the host is a comic shop, you will also find back-issue comic long boxes, key issues, Funko Pops, action figures, and vintage toys mixed in among the card tables — a broader hunt than a pure sports show delivers.
Hours are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, a single-day Saturday format. Admission is free and there is no ticket to buy in advance, which is the single biggest reason to put this on the calendar: a free show with a real vendor count is rare, and it removes any risk of showing up and feeling like the entry fee did not pay for itself.
Tucson Mall sits at 4500 North Oracle Road, just off the I-10 at the Grant Road interchange, with a large free surface lot and covered garage parking on all sides. Enter near center court and you will see the tables immediately. Mall restrooms, seating, and the full food court are steps away, which makes this one of the easier shows in Southern Arizona to bring kids to for a few hours.
This show suits families, casual collectors, and anyone building a TCG collection on a budget. Competitive players will find singles and staples rather than sanctioned tournaments — there is no organized play here, so bring a want list rather than a deck. Serious vintage sports buyers should still walk the floor, but the depth skews TCG.
A few tips. Arrive close to the 11:00 AM open if you are chasing specific singles, because the best-priced binder cards move in the first ninety minutes. Bring cash: many vendors take cards and apps, but cash still gets you the friendliest counteroffer, and mall ATM fees are not kind. Bring penny sleeves and a top loader or two for anything you buy raw. And walk the entire floor once before you buy anything — with the tables arranged in an open court rather than aisles, it is easy to miss a vendor tucked behind a pillar.
