🃏 About This Event

TX Card Fest returns to the UTSA main campus on November 14 and 15 for a 140-plus table weekend inside the H-E-B Student Union Center. This is the organizer's campus-format show, distinct from the larger October event at the FORCE Sports Center, and the university setting gives it a different feel — a bright, central union building with easy walking flow and a student crowd mixing in with the regular collector base.

The show is built on sport cards and TCG Pokemon, the same two pillars that anchor every TX Card Fest date. Sports dealers bring MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing and soccer inventory spanning bulk commons, star singles, modern rookie parallels, patch autographs and graded vintage. The Pokemon presence is heavy: raw singles, graded slabs, sealed booster boxes, elite trainer boxes and Japanese product. Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball vendors fill out the trading card game side, and you will also find memorabilia, comics and Funko Pops scattered through the room.

Hours are Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, November 15 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission runs 10 dollars for a one-day pass or 15 dollars for the two-day pass, with kids 10 and under free. Parking is free. That pricing is deliberately low compared with convention-scale events, and the two-day pass is the obvious buy for anyone who might want a second look.

The H-E-B Student Union Center is on the UTSA main campus at One UTSA Boulevard, off I-10 near the 1604 interchange on the northwest side. Campus parking is signed for event attendees, and the northwest location is convenient for collectors coming from Helotes, Leon Valley, Boerne and the Medical Center area. The 140-plus table count uses six-foot tables, which packs a lot of sellers into a walkable footprint.

This show works especially well for a few groups. Competitive TCG players get deck pieces at table prices with the chance to compare several sellers on the same card. Students and younger collectors benefit from the campus location and the modest admission. Families take advantage of free kids entry. And sports collectors get a room deep enough that price discovery actually happens on the floor rather than on your phone.

Practical advice: buy the two-day pass, walk the entire floor before your first significant purchase, and bring cash — the negotiating room on a cash offer is real. Bring penny sleeves and top-loaders so raw pickups get protected immediately, and bring a trade binder, because TX Card Fest crowds trade actively. Saturday morning has the deepest selection; Sunday afternoon has the most willing sellers. If you are chasing graded material, inspect slab labels and cases in good light before committing.

Table reservations and show updates are posted at txcardfest.com, with announcements on Instagram at @txcardfest. Vendor questions go to [email protected].
