🃏 About This Event

The Underground Sports Cards & TCG Tradeshow takes over the Westline Event Center in Scott, Louisiana across the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2026, and it has quickly become Acadiana's flagship two-day card event. Scott sits just west of Lafayette off I-10, roughly two hours from New Orleans, and the drive is worth it for collectors who want a full weekend rather than a five-hour Saturday sprint. The two-day format changes how the show works: dealers restock overnight, Sunday brings fresh inventory and softer prices, and there is real time to hunt rather than skim.

The floor is split fairly evenly between sports and trading card games, which is unusual and part of the appeal. On the sports side, expect football, baseball, basketball and hockey spanning vintage Topps and Bowman through current-year Prizm, Optic, Mosaic, Select and Bowman Chrome. LSU, Saints and Pelicans material is heavily represented, and Acadiana dealers reliably bring regional oddball and minor-league inventory you will not see in the metro. Graded slabs from PSA, SGC and Beckett fill multiple cases. On the TCG side, Pokemon leads with singles, sealed product and vintage WOTC-era material, followed by Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super. Add comics, memorabilia, unopened wax and collectible figures for the rest.

Hours run Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The early Saturday open is deliberate — this show draws dealers from across Louisiana and East Texas, and the first hour is a genuine buying opportunity. Admission is a low daily door fee with weekend passes typically available; children are usually admitted free with an adult. Table holders should contact the promoter directly, as this show sells out its dealer space.

The Westline Event Center offers a large free parking lot and a wide-open floor plan with generous aisles, which matters at a show this size. Scott's I-10 exit puts gas, hotels and restaurants within a couple of minutes, and Lafayette's dining scene — some of the best food in the state — is ten minutes east if you are staying the night.

This show is built for serious collectors and dealers who want volume and variety, but it also works well for families: the two-day schedule means you can bring kids Sunday when the floor is calmer, and TCG tables give younger collectors something to dig through. Competitive players will find pickup games and casual trading throughout the weekend.

Tips: prioritize Saturday morning for the best raw vintage and graded inventory, then return Sunday for negotiation — dealers who have not hit their weekend number get noticeably more flexible after noon. Bring cash, sleeves and a want list. Book a Lafayette-area hotel early if you are staying over, since fall weekends fill up fast in Acadiana. Bring a rolling case if you plan to buy heavily; the floor is large enough that carrying purchases gets old.
