🃏 About This Event

The West Tucson Card Show sets up Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Tucson Firefighters Association hall, and it is the grassroots counterweight to the big hotel ballroom shows happening the same weekend. This is a community-hall show in the best sense: free admission, free parking, free cards for kids, and raffles running through the day. Nobody is trying to extract money from you at the door, and the whole tone of the room follows from that.

West Tucson has been underserved by the card show circuit. Most of the region's events cluster downtown, midtown, or on the east side, which leaves collectors on the west side and in Marana driving across the city for a few hours of browsing. This show puts a floor within easy reach of the Tucson Mountains, the west side neighborhoods, and the northwest corridor. That local focus shapes the vendor list — you get area dealers and serious local collectors renting tables rather than a national circuit roster, which tends to mean rawer inventory and more negotiable pricing.

On the tables expect a solid mix of sports and trading card games. Sports side: MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL across vintage, junk wax, and modern, with graded slabs and the occasional autographed piece. TCG side: Pokemon leads, with Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and Disney Lorcana singles and sealed appearing depending on which vendors book. Comics, memorabilia, and assorted collectibles fill out the room. Because vendors here are frequently collectors clearing out a personal collection rather than full-time dealers, this is a good show for finding oddball vintage and mid-grade raw cards priced to move rather than priced to a comp.

Hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a tight six-hour single-day window. With a smaller room, the whole floor is walkable in under an hour, so most attendees do two or three passes.

Admission is FREE. Parking is FREE. Kids receive free cards, which is a small touch that consistently turns a bored eight-year-old into a collector by the end of the afternoon. Awesome raffles run throughout the day per the organizers, so check in at the front table when you arrive to see what is being given away.

The Tucson Firefighters Association is at 2430 North Huachuca Drive, west of I-10 near Grant Road. There is a dedicated on-site lot, and getting in and out is far less of a project than at a downtown venue.

This show is ideal for families, first-timers, budget collectors, and anyone who finds large convention floors overwhelming. Serious high-end buyers may find the ceiling lower than at a hotel show, but the value floor is where the appeal is. Note that Tucson Card Vault II runs the same weekend at Reid Park — hitting both on Saturday is very doable, and the two rooms are different enough to be worth it.

Tips: arrive near the 10:00 AM open, bring cash in small bills for easier haggling, bring sleeves and top loaders, and talk to the vendors. At a show this size the person behind the table usually owns everything on it and will make a deal on a multi-card purchase.

Follow the show's Facebook page for vendor lists and future dates.
