Lawrence comics-and-collectibles shop in the Union Street mill complex, packed with silver and bronze age books, trading cards, autographs and action figures.
Little Giant Comics & Collectibles occupies a space inside the historic mill buildings on Union Street in Lawrence, and stepping through the door feels a bit like walking into a collector's attic that kept growing. The sheer volume of merchandise is the first thing most visitors notice: long boxes of comics, shelves of figures, framed autographed memorabilia and cases of trading cards.
Comics are the backbone. The shop is especially strong in silver and bronze age books at prices that keep vintage reading copies and mid-grade keys within reach. Trading cards hold a significant share of the floor too, with sports cardboard among the highlights, making this a useful stop if you want vintage cards Lawrence collectors can see in person instead of buying blind online.
The team is also an active buyer, known for making competitive offers on collections, and the owner has a reputation for tracking down items customers cannot find on their own. If you are chasing a particular issue or card, bring a list. Beyond the storefront, the Little Giant crew is a fixture at the region's old-school comic shows, including a long-running spring show in New Hampshire, so the shop is well connected across the Northeast collecting circuit.
Hours are noon to 5PM Monday, Tuesday and Sunday, and 11AM to 6PM Wednesday through Saturday. The mill setting means you should allow a few extra minutes to find the suite and parking on a first visit.
For a Lawrence card shop that doubles as a full-on comics and pop-culture emporium, Little Giant is the destination in the Merrimack Valley. Check the website for current inventory highlights and show dates.
