Super Comic Bros

NW 23rd Street comic and game shop with a Sunday-night Magic crowd that helps new deck-builders find their feet, open every day but Monday.

Super Comic Bros occupies a suite on NW 23rd Street, the corridor that anchors much of Oklahoma City's independent shopping. It is part comic shop and part local game store, and the card side shows up most clearly in the weekly Magic: The Gathering scene.

Players describe Sunday nights as a good time to sit in, and new players report that the room made them feel welcome while they were still putting together a first deck. That helpfulness is the main reason to consider it if you want a Magic: The Gathering store in Oklahoma City that treats beginners well.

The comic racks sit alongside the gaming product, so a mixed household can split up: one person pulls new issues while another sorts through trading card supplies and sealed items. Staff are described as knowledgeable and happy to chat at length.

Hours are Tuesday 1PM to 7PM, then 11AM to 7PM Wednesday through Sunday, with Monday closed. The address is 2531 NW 23rd St, Ste 100, Oklahoma City, OK 73107. Call 405-850-8640, or see the Linktree for announcements. Google lists 4.9 stars from over seventy reviews.
