Elite Sports Cards took over the storefront at 512 Bainbridge Street in 2025 and quickly built a following on two fronts: a serious sports card operation for Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers collectors, and a Pokemon selection broad enough that Pokemon-focused directories rank it among the better-stocked stops for Pokemon cards Philadelphia has south of Center City.

The hybrid model is the draw. In the shop you'll find display cases of graded slabs and raw singles — modern basketball and football rookies alongside Pokemon hits — with booster packs running $4-6 and singles priced anywhere from a quarter up to the $500+ chase cards in the front case. On the digital side, the crew runs live breaks and sales through their Whatnot channel, so regulars can buy into a box break from home or drop by and watch it opened live in the store.

It's a newer shop, and the review profile reflects a strong start: 4.9 stars on Google across its first several dozen reviews, with buyers repeatedly citing the welcoming, community-first feel and staff who actually collect what they sell. Weekday visits are the quieter window if you want time at the cases; weekends fill up around big product releases and stream schedules.

Hours run long for the neighborhood — 10am to 7pm on weekdays and 9am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday — making it one of the few card shops in Philadelphia you can reliably hit early on a weekend morning. Street parking around Bainbridge and 5th is typical South Philly: circle the block once and you'll usually find something.
